Dr. Sam R. Morhaim, DDS
Periodontist
Dr. Morhaim is a periodontal surgeon with a primary expertise in implant dentistry. In addition to his work at Great Neck Dental, he was the Clinical Director of the Flushing Hospital Medical Center, an affiliate of New York University Hospital. He earned his DDS from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine where he received numerous honors including the American Association of Endodontics Award, the Academy of Dentistry for the Disabled Award, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology Award.
He then went on to complete his specialty training at Boston University School of Post-Doctoral Periodontics and Oral Biology where he graduated with honors and became a “Fellow” of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Presently he is a Diplomat of the same Dental Implant organization, which is the highest honor bestowed upon an active member and a feat that only 4% of its members achieve. He is also one of the first to be designated with the title of certified LANAP clinician in Nausau County, Long Island.
Dr. Stephen Dallal, DMD
General Dentist
Dr. Stephen Dallal is a founding partner of Great Neck Dental Associates. In 1995 he became the first and still-to-date only cosmetic dentist in Nassau and Queens Counties to have received the coveted “Accredited Status” by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Today there are only 299 such Accredited Dentists worldwide! Before joining Bayside Dental and later founding the Mid-Island Dental office in 1985, Dr. Dallal completed a general practice residency program at Peninsula Hospital Center in 1980. He graduated with honors in the top quintile of his class from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1979.
